I made an artwork for an exhibition The Doll Reimagined. I did a collage portrait of T. Burke of #metoo fame.  I made her face entirely out of magazine photos of women as we have been portrayed in magazines for years.  Ms. Burke is then presented as the modern media woman who is made up of all the pictures of women in the media from long ago.  This was a few years ago and this is a picture of the artwork in progress.  I will find the artwork and publish it soon. Sorry about the reminiscing I will catch up publish some new stuff soon.

So I drove by Malurus ave today and I saw the mural I did with all the students at Lockleys North Primary School is still there.

new solo exhibition

Well it has been a long time since I posted...four years?? But I still have this domain an
I will attempt to use it other once more..
I am getting ready for a solo show in April.  It is at the Prospect Gallery here in Adelaide.
The show is called The Desert Atlas: woven from memory.
These artworks were conceived in my year of living in Saudi Arabia.  Navigating a place in Saudi daily life was my biggest challenge.  Inspired by weavings of unnamed artists: the nomadic carpet makers. I made own maps and compiled them into this desert atlas.
Here is a little taste:
